MENTOR PROGRAM

The Mission of the RECN Mentors of Color program: Our mission is to develop supportive, understanding, trusted advocates to create consistent, stable, safe relationships built on loyalty and truth without recourse. 

• Through RECN’s advocacy we will:

  • Impact the retention of educators of color

  • Connect people to build relationships

  • Develop a safe place and time

  • Provide approaches to mentorship

  • Create environments conclusive to feeling connected, valued, and a sense of solidarity
